Handy Man

Brian is quite the handy man and craftsman.

Here are a couple projects he has done.

 My Dad's Christmas present. Brian burned the wood for the letters and stars. Took quite some time, but LOVE how it turned out!

I wanted some shelves in a small linen closet.

Christmas and New Year's Eve 2012

A recap of the holidays (in random order)

 Santa treated very well, with a new rocking horse!

 Helen enjoyed some of the festivities after she crashed on momma's lap

 the 29th we celebrated with the Moore family. One proud grandma and aunt, holding brand new baby Emily and nearly 3 month old Helen

 Brian worked hard on this sign for my dad. It's mounted on the side of his shed that holds all the tack for the horses.

I think Christmas was successful!

 Then Mike and his crew drove out from Georgia! We had a blast celebrating the new year with them! (above pic, kiddos tickling Mike)

 Finally found matching Christmas dresses for the girls. Helen size 6mos, Lily size 7(girls)!

 They spent the majority of the night playing Mario Kart on the Wii.

Playing Catch-up

Ok, here's a brief look from the past month

 My dad works in the town we live in, he stopped in to visit and read some books.

 Helen LOVES to be in front of the Christmas tree, look at the lights, and listen to music. Puts to sleep almost every time!

 This girl makes me smile! She LOVES to help and be very involved with everything. She had to dress up to help make dinner!

 I asked her to get dressed, this is what she came up with. LOVE it!

 Helen is growing so fast! She's already 11 weeks old and we love to get smiles and giggles from her!

 Great Grandma Moore sent us a gingerbread house kit. Lily did all the decorating and she had a blast!

 After a long day at church, Daddy and Helen needed a nap.

 We often prop Helen up in the corner of the couch. A few minutes later, she had sunk down a little bit and I couldn't help but giggle at these two BIG eyes peering out.

Helen's Blessing

Helen was blessed on Sunday, November 4th. Brian gave her a beautiful blessing, brought tears to my eyes.

We're so happy she's a part of our family!
The beautiful blanket Helen is wrapped in, was knitted by her Great Grandma Beth. It's also the same blanket Lily was wrapped in on her blessing day.

Lily Turns 4

Lily turned 4!

She's our fun spirited, goofy, super smart, kind, and loving little girl. She means everything to us and glad she's ours!

Happy Birthday Lily!

 My mom and I took her to a pumpkin patch and it had little carnival rides. She enjoyed those!!

 We then met up with Aunt Anna and played at a park.

 A couple days later, we had a small little party, with family. We played some classic games.
