Helen's 1st Birthday
Where has the time gone?! Helen turned 1!
We had a small family party, which consisted of decorating cupcakes, eating cupcakes and ice cream, opening presents, and chit chatting.
Great time!

A Day at the Beach
Anna had the great idea to take all the kiddos to the beach while Scotty was home visiting.
So we packed up the car, 3 adults with 5 kids ages 7 and under, and drove to our favorite place, Cayucos.
Redwood National Forest 2013
We took a long drive up the coast, to just north of Eureka. We spent a couple of days using the trails in the Redwood National and State Forests.
We couldn't believe how beautiful it was! All of this was literally just feet away from the beach!
