Spilled Milk?....... Think Again

We've all head the saying; "Don't cry over spilled milk"
But is it okay to cry over scrambled eggs?

My mother-in-law stopped by to drop something off. While I got caught up talking I could hear Lily doing something in the kitchen. I didn't think much of it. I had just cleaned the kitchen. There wasn't anything out on the counters that she could damage. But apparently I had forgotten to lock the fridge (again!). I walked around the corner and this is what I saw!

I asked the culprit what she was doing. This was her response (word for word):
"Look Mommy! I did it!"
Me: "What did you do?"
Culprit: "I cooked! and it was yummy!"
(While clapping her hands and licking her lips)

Let's just say eggs are NOT my favorite thing to clean up!
And yes, eggs were cracked into the Brita pitcher and yolk was running down the side of the fridge where some must have been cracked!

Lily Belle

Two really random pics of our little one.

I never know what the day is going to be like with my two year old!

I couldn't resist taking a picture of her sleeping like this:

One evening, I was in the other room doing something and was informed by my sister that the fridge was wide open and many food items were laid out on the floor. My sister thought I was reorganizing/cleaning out the fridge. NOPE! Lily  opened the door (apparently I forgot to latch the lock) and she decided to reorganize for me. Don't you like how she lined everything up so nicely?

Love this little girl!

Snow Day at Shaver Lake

We sure enjoyed our day playing in the snow! Lily sobbed when we had to leave. She really got into throwing snowballs at us. It was pretty fun!

Christmas 2010

Sorry for being a little MIA here in the blogging world. Here are some pictures of our 2010 Christmas:

The McLelland tradition of "Lighting the Sacks"
Lily ready to go to church, in her new Christmas dress wearing MY old red coat! I wore that coat when I was two!
Couldn't resist a picture of Grandma Dawna's veggie plate creation!
Santa treated Lily quite well with this new table and chairs, and tea set!
Lily Super excited walking down the hall Christmas morning
 Would you like some tea?
Goofy picture of us all, but we're talking to my little brother, Elder Scotty, who's serving a mission in Brazil.
Grandma Gail and Grandpa Steve gave Lily this darling kitchen! Boy does she like to play with it!!!

It just isn't Christmas without some piano duets with Grandma Beth (Anna above, Mom below)

I just couldn't resist this darling little girl our helping her dad rake leaves, while wearing his shoes!
