Spilled Milk?....... Think Again

We've all head the saying; "Don't cry over spilled milk"
But is it okay to cry over scrambled eggs?

My mother-in-law stopped by to drop something off. While I got caught up talking I could hear Lily doing something in the kitchen. I didn't think much of it. I had just cleaned the kitchen. There wasn't anything out on the counters that she could damage. But apparently I had forgotten to lock the fridge (again!). I walked around the corner and this is what I saw!

I asked the culprit what she was doing. This was her response (word for word):
"Look Mommy! I did it!"
Me: "What did you do?"
Culprit: "I cooked! and it was yummy!"
(While clapping her hands and licking her lips)

Let's just say eggs are NOT my favorite thing to clean up!
And yes, eggs were cracked into the Brita pitcher and yolk was running down the side of the fridge where some must have been cracked!

Oh my gosh! That is so funny! Well I guess it isn't so funny if you have to clean it up!
We used to have to take the turn dial out of the dishwasher because the kids would start it all the time. Too funny!

Kids are so FUN!! She is such a cutie, even if she does like to make scrambled eggs.

Salt. It helps clean up eggs. I know because I had to do it last week.

I have cleaned the very same kind of mess!! Went to a baby shower and came home to a kitchen floor full of eggs!

There really is something to the terrible twos isn't there? It's a good thing they are SO incredibly cute at this age!! We have locks on everything at our house, drawers, cupboards, cabinets, dressers, and still Jeff and Noah always manage to find a way to empty things out and spread them around the floor! :-)
