Lily LOVES playing at grandma's house! Loves playing in the yard pulling weeds (and flowers too!), playing dress up, and being a clown. She's been quite happy so far, I hope it stays this way for our remaining 2 weeks of our first trip to California this summer!

More Arizona Randomness
Lily and I went to Mesa to visit Brian's cousin Cami. She has two little boys, Steven and Boston. We went to a nearby park and met up with some of their friends, while there we discovered turtles on the bank of the pond. Everyone was fascinated!
Lily HAD to copy every move the older boys did!
This cactus is called a saguaro. This one is about 200 years old! We couldn't fit it entirely in the picture. It still was at least 6 feet taller!

More Playing in Arizona
Lily loved looking at herself in the mirror. lately she's been into giving lots of kisses and we caught her kissing 'herself'
Kisses for mommy. She knows if she kisses my ear it tickles me and gives me goose bumps.
I couldn't resist this swimsuit while shopping at Target
We were able to visit Brian's aunt, Debbie. Her grandkids were around which meant play mates for Lily. Here is Boston with Lily. He's 6 months YOUNGER than Lily.
He's a chub but absolutely adorable!

Arizona
Lily and I had the opportunity to go on the road with Brian. This job was in Casa Grande, Arizona. I was excited because we were able to visit my best friend Jessica, aka Blondie. I hadn't seen her in 3 years. She took us to the Desert Museum. Here are some pictures of that visit:
This raccoon was really friendly. It was playing with us through the window.
I have a new appreciation for the desert! It's so pretty in it's own kind of way!
Lily fell in love with Blondie REAL quick! They became best friends!
Lily kept calling the wolf a dog and barking at it. It was pretty cute.
Playing at the hotel:
Brian thought she was so cute in her cover-up for the pool. She learned how to use the elevator quite well and knew exactly which buttons to push. She'd make Grandpa Steve proud!
I asked her to smile and this is what she gave me!
The bridge that's being built so we don't drive over the Hoover Dam.
Birthday Celebrations
For Brian's birthday I did "30 Days of Birthday Fun" where I gave him a little gift every day for 30 days leading up to the big day. He really enjoyed it! Brian had been wanting a Wii for a very long time. I finally got one for him. He has been playing it non-stop!
Lily helped him open his presents
I surprised him with going to dinner and friends meeting us there! He thought it was just a date for the two of us. He was surprised and thrilled to have some good friends join us! Here they're singing to him at the restaurant.
I made him this cake, a target. He loves to shoot his guns and I thought a target would be fun. This was my first attempt at using piping for the cake. As you can tell, it turned out terrible, partly due to being rushed to get it done. But he still enjoyed it!
I think Lily enjoyed the cake too!
